The Scottish Government are committed to improving the lives of people who have lost their voice or have difficulty speaking.

From the 19th March, all NHS Boards in Scotland now have a duty to provide communication equipment and the support to use it, frequently referred to as Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), to anyone who needs it.

The legislation is at: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/asp/2016/14/part/4/enacted
